Our gardens and grounds provide members with a most enjoyable pastime and are very popular.

The several garden beds we have were constructed by utilising used railway sleepers that were generously donated by Qld Rail The beds are raised to the Australian Standard which enables disabled people to participate in this activity without leaving their assistance aids.

We grow seasonal vegetables which we sell to members and the public alike and with several crops, our members make jams, chutneys and relishes also for sale. We also have various fruit trees such as pawpaw, bananas and citrus, and we are now concentrating on the profiting of turmeric and garlic.

Apart from the produce gardens, we also grow flowers and other shrubs, the flowers of which attract bees.
