Remembrance Day 2021 was celebrated with a small informal ceremony in the Men’s Shed. The Australian and New Zealand flags were laid out for the laying of wreaths. Andy Bryson, President of the Sub Branch and Men’s Shed welcomed everyone, including Veteran visitors Richard Sherwood, Harry and Pearl Mee and James Birmingham.

Following one minutes silence at 11am, Andy called for the laying of wreaths, and the order was:- Taina for Qld. Branch; Tony for Sub Branch and shed; Brad for navy; Michelle for Servicewomen and Army; Peter for RAAF and Harry Mee for the visiting veterans.

This was followed by the Last Post, Reciting of the Ode, Rouse and both Australian and New Zealand anthems. Andy then closed the ceremony and invited all for a cuppa and biscuits in the lunch room.
