Monday 15 November saw a huge volunteer project by the Men’s Shed members, Frank, Drew, Peter C. and Peter H., Kevin, Greg, Ken and Andy, to spread eight cubic metres of mulch over the garden beds in the Veterans Support Group grounds. An early start at 8am, followed by 2 hours of solid activity with wheelbarrows, shovels, rakes and a lot of sweat out and water in, and the project was done and dusted. The garden beds now have a nice new coat of 150mm of mulch, giving them both a neat and tidy look, and most importantly, protection from those ever present pesky weeds. A good job well done by all.
